The Multi Document Interface (MDI) widget allows the possibility to group associated windows onto the same parent screen. This allows the ability for associated pieces of work to be visible concurrently.
This shows MDI child widgets which have been cascaded and also a floatingform which is docked and snapped to the left hand side of the area.
The floatingform which is still docked has been unsnapped to allow the contained data to be displayed.
The MDI child has been maximised and its caption buttons recreated on the menu bar. A system menu button has also been added which displays an icon representation of the document type.
The floatingform is being dragged and has been undocked. Docking indicators have been displayed to allow for easy redocking within the main window. |
